Tayanah is my best friend.

She is 9 years old and we are convinced our souls have known each other for eternity.

We have such a wonderful understanding of each other, of our similarities and of our differences.

We do, of course, have our spats, she is after all a child, and it is my role to guide her towards her future. However, we have a deep friendship that really stretches beyond a parent and child relationship and allows us to really have respect and appreciation for each other.

I love every moment we spend together and I miss her terribly when she is not here.

Tayanah also has a wonderful relationship with her father and his partner / girlfriend.
